Like many kids, Maya has an obsession with riding the carousel. Our rule of thumb at the zoo is two rides. She was asking about the carousel today so I thought I would look back at a few pics of Miss Maya riding the carousel and even one with Owen's first ride.
We have a giant neat old carousel in our mall. Kinda weird in my mind but in my memory, stationary carousels are in downtown Spokane in a park. Anyways, it's something that we do as a treat for Melissa when we go shopping. Her eyes light up at the mention of doing a ride before we leave and she patiently waits her turn to give the lady the $1 token. A couple times little kids push ahead and she mentions that they should be patient and wait their turn. She and I go round and round while looking for Randy who is watching from the ground. So if/when you come to visit, I know Melissa would LOVE to take Maya on it!
