This post is not about my kiddos or even me but my awesome sister who completed her second full Marathon! Woooo Hooo! Chris and I took Maya and my niece Charissa to stay at the Sheraton in downtown Seattle so we could cheer on my sister on Saturday morning as she ran the Seattle Rock and Roll Marathon. The girls were awesome and had a blast swimming in the pool, pigging out on pizza and wandering Seattle to see Tori run and watch her awesome finish! Go Tori!!!

He's a Turkey!
Children's Museum
It had been quite awhile since we had visited Imagine Children's Museum. Mostly I avoided it because the idea of Owen crawling around in there grossed me out. Plain and simple, I've become a slight germaphobe. I digress. We ventured out to let Owen check out the fun this afternoon and to burn off some energy.
Owen loved the trains.

Both kids had loads of fun playing in the freezing cold water.

Maya also had fun 'cooking' for us in the Italian restaurant.

So much fun!!!

Swim Lessons
Maya loves her swim lessons. She has gone from being apprehensive and not wanting to put her face in the water to jumping off the ledge, laying flat on her back, putting her whole head underwater and even paddling hard enough to keep her head above water without a life jacket. Here is a picture of her last lesson with 'the teacher with glasses' (as she liked to call her).
